Break-Ins To Apartments

The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating three break-ins and one attempted break-in which occurred within a 24 hour period in downtown Saskatoon.

The break-ins were to apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors of apartment buildings. The suspect entered at night, through unlocked patio doors and took items from the apartment while the occupants were sleeping. In the attempted break-in the suspect cut the screen but was unable to gain entry as the door was locked.

No one was injured in any of the break ins. Investigators believe these incidents are similar to break ins that occurred in late spring of this year (Release no. 310).

Residents are reminded to close, lock and secure all patio doors, even those above the main floor of apartment buildings or condominiums.
