Mask Policy

  • As of September 1st, 2021 the Saskatoon Police Service would like to advise members of the public that masks will be required when visiting police facilities. This includes to file a report at the Service Centre, apply for a criminal record check or attend to Lost and Found.

Front-line Officers

  • Officers remain on regular patrol duty.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is being provided to all front-line officers and will be worn in the appropriate circumstances. Additional PPE is worn during incidents where officers may come into contact with an infected patient.


  • Additional screening questions will be asked in regard to COVID-19 during your call to SPS. This is to best prepare/ensure the safety of responding officers.


  • All Detention staff are provided with Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Maintenance staff thoroughly cleans and sanitizes Police vehicles used in the transport of an arrest to Detention.
  • Maintenance staff thoroughly cleans and sanitizes Detention cells following an arrest release.

Service Centre

  • The Service Centre (and main lobby) of the Headquarters building is open to the public from 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. everyday. Upon entry, you will be encouraged to sanitize and offered and optional mask. You must provide you name and phone number for contact tracing purposes. Extra stanchions, hand sanitizing stations and plexi-glass dividers remain in place.

  • Criminal Record Checks are open to the public from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m, Monday to Friday.

Lost & Found

  • Lost & Found is open to the public from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday and closed over the noon hour. To inquire, please call 306-975-8213.

Victim Services

  • Victim Services is open by appointment from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. If you have been a victim of a crime and are in need of support, please call 306-975-8400.
