Shortly after 5:30 PM on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 Saskatoon Police received a report that an injured male had made his way to St. Paul's Hospital and was the victim of a gunshot wound to the upper portion of his right leg.
The 28 year old male received immediate attention, and fortunately the wound was not life threatening. It is likely that he will be released from hospital shortly.
Attending Police members found the victim uncooperative and unwilling to provide any information regarding exactly when, where and why the incident occurred, or who any suspect or suspects involved might be.
At this time Police have no information that would indicate this incident, and the recently reported shooting at a downtown hotel, are related.
