Two people are facing numerous weapons related charges following an armed robbery yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., December 19, 2017, Saskatoon Police were dispatched to a residential building in the 1600 block of 22nd Street West for a report of a person with a firearm.
The SPS Air Support Unit was flying above at the time, and informed Patrol officers that a male and female had been pointing a firearm at another male on the front lawn of a multi-unit dwelling. When officers arrived, the victim reported having been assaulted and robbed in a suite. He was found to have outstanding warrants and was breaching numerous conditions. The female suspect, also arrested without incident, was found to be in possession of the items that the victim had reported being robbed of, as well as an axe.
