On November 8, 2017 members of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU), completed an investigation into methamphetamine trafficking in Saskatoon.
As a result of this investigation a 37 and a 36 year old male were arrested for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking methamphetamine.
Following the arrest, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the 200 block of Avenue M North in Saskatoon and on a vehicle occupied by the two individuals. The arrest and search resulted in the seizure of approximately 3 kilograms of methamphetamine, 8 ounces of MDMA and a small amount of marihuana. Both individuals have been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking methamphetamine and MDMA, and Possession of a Controlled Substance of marihuana. They are expected to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court this afternoon.
CFSEU is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Justice, Corrections and Policing. CFSEU is an investigative body comprised of personnel from partner agencies from the Saskatoon Police, Prince Albert Police, Regina Police Services and the RCMP ‘F’ Division. The mandate of CFSEU is to expose, investigate, disrupt, dismantle and prosecute organized crime enterprises.
