The incident referred to in media release 2018-0019 took place in the 300 block of Pendygrasse Road.
At 08:22p.m. January 8, 2018 police responded to a call for assistance regarding an injured male. Information received was that the male victim had been stabbed and that suspects fled the area in a vehicle. Multiple officers were dispatched and the suspect vehicle was quickly detected and stopped by police. Occupants were found with blood on their persons, two knives and a canister of bear mace were seized as evidence.
A 23 year old male, 29 year old male, 43 year old female, 31 year old male are in custody facing charges of possession of a weapon for a purpose dangerous to the public. The victim was treated and released from hospital. The assault investigation is ongoing and has been assigned to the Targeted Enforcement Unit.
