A 32 year old male is facing numerous drug charges after he was arrested on outstanding warrants.
On June 22, 2018, at approximately 2:15 a.m., a member of the Saskatoon Police Service’s Guns and Gang Unit observed a male who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for arrest in the 900 block of Central Avenue. When the officer attempted to arrest him he began to resist and other officers were called to assist.
Upon taking him into custody he was found to be in possession of heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, marijuana and over $5000 in cash.
The male is now facing additional charges that include Resisting Arrest, Possession of the Proceeds of Crime, and four counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance.
He is expected to appear before a Justice of the Peace on the evening of June 22, 2018.
