Two men, ages 23 and 35, are facing more than 30 charges following the seizure of a wide-range of drugs and weapons, including a loaded, sawed-off rifle.
At approximately 10:00 p.m, June 25, 2018, Patrol Officers noticed suspicious activity involving a grey Audi Quattro in the 1400 block of Avenue G South. The driver of the Audi, a 35 year old man was identified as being wanted by the Humboldt RCMP. Upon searching him, officers located more than $4600 in cash, separated into three bundles. A search of the vehicle resulted in officers locating a loaded, sawed-off rifle, knives, cell phones, $18,000 in cash, 35 gram of methamphetamine, 6 grams of powdered cocaine, more than 3 grams of MDMA, more than 8 gram of of crack cocaine, and 2,2 litres of GHB.
The two are facing charges including; Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of the Proceeds of Crime and Possession of a Controlled Substance, along with many Criminal Code charges.
