A 24 year old male is now facing charges of Uttering Threats to Cause Death after an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service and U of S Protective Services.
On September 19, 2018, Police were made aware of threatening posts on social media that had been made by a 24 year old male. The posts involved threatening statements about harming people.
On September 20, 2108 Police located the male at the University of Saskatchewan. He was arrested without incident.
He has been charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Death and Breach of a Court Order. He will be appearing in court on October 21, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.

A 24-year-old man is in custody after Police were investigating threatening online comments that were made involving the University of Saskatchewan.
Police had been attempting to locate this individual after receiving a report about his comments on social media yesterday evening. His vehicle was located shortly before 9:00 a.m. this morning near Wiggins Avenue and Aird Street. Patrol Officers and U of S Protective Services were successful in locating the individual on campus where he was taken into custody without further incident.
This incident remains under investigation.
