Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Targeted Enforcement Section are investigating a shooting that occurred on March 12, 2019.
A 30 year old male is being treated in hospital for a non life-threatening injury following an incident that occurred in the 1700 block of 20th Street West at approximately 1:00 p.m. yesterday.
The man reported walking in the area when he was approached by a man and a woman. He reported a verbal exchange occurred before the male suspect, who appeared to be armed with a .22 calibre firearm, shot the victim. The victim then fled to St. Paul's Hospital for assistance.
The male suspect is described as Indigenous, 5'9" in height, with dark hair in a brush cut. He was wearing black jeans and a black jacket. The female suspect is described as Indigenous, 5'9" in height with a thin build and long brown hair, She was wearing a brown khaki jacket and white pants.
