A 45 year old Saskatoon man is under arrest for failing to comply with a Conditional Sentence Order, carrying a concealed weapon and five counts of assault with a weapon.

At 10:49 p.m. Police were called to a house in the 400 block of 5 St E, where a male was acting strangely.. When officers arrived, they entered the house and the male immediately advanced toward officers while swinging a weapon. Police deployed CEW's, which were ineffective.

The male suspect was transported to hospital for medical assessment.

The incident will be reviewed in accordance with policy.
