CFSEU Investigation - Cocaine Trafficking

Members of the Saskatoon Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU), with the assistance of the Rosetown RCMP Detachment, have completed a three-week investigation into cocaine trafficking in and around the Saskatoon area.

On June 18, 2019 shortly after 11:00 a.m., a 35 year old man was arrested in a vehicle stop in the town of Zealandia. Approximately one kilogram of cocaine was located in the vehicle as well as brass knuckles. The man was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, trafficking cocaine and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.

CFSEU is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Justice, Corrections and Policing. CFSEU is an investigative body comprised of personnel from partner agencies from the Saskatoon Police Service, Prince Albert Police Service, Regina Police Service and The RCMP ‘F’ Division. The mandate of CFSEU is to expose, investigate, disrupt, dismantle and prosecute organized crime enterprises.
