A 36 year old woman and a 33 year old man are both facing charges of trafficking methamphetamine in Saskatoon. The two were arrested on June 22, 2019 following an investigation by members of the Saskatoon Police Service Drug Unit (SPSDU).

At approximately 3:15 p.m. officers stopped a white Ford Mustang in a parking lot at Fairmont Drive and Fairlight Drive. The man and woman were taken into custody and a search of the vehicle resulted in officers locating approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine, $900, mobile phones and drug paraphernalia. With assistance by members of the Tactical Support Unit (TSU) a subsequent search was conducted of a residence in the 1000 block of Avenue B North. It located a loaded, sawed-off shotgun and ammunition.

The 36 year old woman and 33 year old man are charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine and Possession of the Proceeds of Crime. The man is also facing a number of firearm related charges.
