Stolen Vehicle - Weapons Call

On July 1, 2019, at approximately 3:52 a.m., the Saskatoon Police Service received a complaint of suspects who had gone to a home in the 2400 blk of Taylor St E and began shooting a BB handgun out the window of a vehicle hitting two victims and the home.

With the assistance of the Air Support Unit, the suspects were located leaving the scene and observed abandoning a stolen vehicle from Alberta in a parking lot on Preston Ave. The suspects entered another vehicle which was stopped at Clancy Drive and Circle Drive at 4:23a.m.

Officers located two BB replica handguns in the vehicle.

Two men, ages 18 and 20 from Calgary, Alberta, were taken into custody and face charges of assault with a weapon X8, possession over $5000 and possession of a weapon. They will appear before a Justice of the Peace tonight.

A 15 year old male youth from Saskatoon was also arrested but released at this time pending further investigation.

The victims and suspects are believed not to be known to each other.
