Through investigation, officers learned the unit had been broken into. It is believed that these two incidents are related.

Shortly after, officers located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s vehicle and a traffic stop was attempted; however, once officers activated their vehicle’s emergency lights, the suspect vehicle fled at a high rate of speed.

Officers continued to follow the vehicle as it continued to travel at a high rate of speed before disengaging to ensure road safety.
