Charges Laid - Stabbing / Assault - 200 Block of Ells Crescent

Two people were arrested and are facing charges following a stabbing late Saturday night.

On June 20, 2026 at approximately 11:55 p.m., police were called to the 200 block of Ells Crescent for a report of a stabbing.

Officers arrived on scene and located a 17-year-old male with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital by paramedics. The suspect was an 18-year-old woman who was arrested on scene without further incident. While at SPS detention, officers learned she had an injury consistent with a stab wound. She was transported to hospital for further treatment.

Through investigation, officers learned another woman at the scene attempted to intervene in the initial altercation when a separate male at the residence assaulted her. The male was arrested without further incident.

All involved individuals are believed to be known to one another.

As a result, an 18-year-old woman has been charged with Aggravated Assault and a 17-year-old man has been charged with Assault and Assault by Choking.

Two Charged - Robbery - Fairlight Drive and Fairmont Drive

A 34 year old woman and a 26 year old man are facing charges following a robbery and assault on the weekend.

At approximately 8:00 a.m., June 19, 2026 two males and two females were travelling in a Chevrolet Cruze when the driver was told to pull over by the backseat occupants. The 34 year old woman then reportedly struck the male in the front passenger seat with a hammer. Items, including the vehicle were then stolen from the 43 year old female and 36 year old male victims. The vehicle was located a short time later in the 2400 block of MacPherson Avenue. The 34 year old woman was arrested at the scene along with the 26 year old man. They are facing charges including; Robbery, Possession of Stolen Property and Breach of Probation.

UPDATE: Charges Laid - Shooting - Louise Street And McEown Avenue

Members of the Saskatoon Police Serious Assault Unit (SAU) have concluded their investigation into the shooting last week in the 10 block of Sturby Place.

Through investigation, police have charged a 15-year-old male youth with Aggravated Assault, Discharging a Firearm in a Reckless Manner, Assault with a Weapon and Mischief Under $5000.

He was scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on June 19, 2026.

Evade Police/Injured Male - 100 block Gibson Bend

A 46 year old man is receiving medical treatment following an incident which occurred on the weekend.

At approximately 6:20 p.m. June 20, 2026, an officer was attending a call for service when he was approached by someone reporting a male acting suspiciously in the area of Evergreen Blvd. The person reported the male appeared to by trying to commit self-harm. As the officer arrived on scene he spotted a grey Hyundai Veloster leaving the area. As he followed, the driver began to operate the vehicle in an erratic fashion while waving his hands out the window. The officer along with a second unit, attempted to stop the vehicle, however it continued southbound on McCormand Drive before turning onto Brighton Gate and then into a parking lot in the 100 block of Gibson Bend. Upon arriving, officers spotted the unoccupied vehicle in the parking lot and located the male inside a store, where he was attempting to self-harm. A taser was deployed, allowing officers to provide immediate medical attention.

The male was transported to hospital.

Five Arrested in Assault - 2900 block 8th Street East

Five people are facing charges following a report of an assault and a weapon.

AT approximately 7:00 p.m., June 21, 2026, Police were called to a parking lot in the 2900 block of 8th Street East. It was reported that several people were assaulting a male. Upon arrival, officers located a 24 year old man who was suffering from non life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital. Five people were also located nearby and arrested. A 41 year old woman is charged with Robbery and three males, ages 33, 50, 49 are charged with Robbery and Breach of Probation.

Another woman, age 20, was found to be in possession of a knife and was charged. She will appear in court at a later date.

Firearm Discharged / Stabbing - 400 Block of Marlette Crescent

Saskatoon Police are investigating an incident where a man was stabbed and a firearm was discharged over the weekend.

On June 21, 2026 at approximately 10:20 p.m., police were called to the 400 block of Marlatte Crescent for a weapons call where it was reported that a firearm had been discharged. Shortly after, police were called to the 3800 block of Kochar Avenue for an injured person call where it was reported that a male had been stabbed and a firearm was observed. It was believed the calls were related.

Officers arrived in the 3800 block of Kochar Avenue and located two people inside a vehicle, a 35-year-old woman and 28-year-old man. The man was transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries consistent with a stabbing.

Through their investigation, officers learned the victims met up with two people in the 400 block of Marlatte Crescent to sell a phone. A male and female suspect entered the vehicle and a short time later, a third male approached the drivers side window with a firearm. When the driver began to pull forward, the male in the back seat stabbed the man in the front seat. The male and female suspect then got out of the vehicle before the third male approached with a firearm and reportedly fired it before all three suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.

Aggravated Assault - 3300 Block of Fairlight Drive

Police are investigating in relation to an aggravated assault overnight.

On June 22, 2026 at around 1:10 a.m., officers were called to the 3300 block of Fairlight Drive for an injured person call. Initial information outlined a female attended a business and had been stabbed. It is not known where the stabbing occurred.

Officers arrived on scene and located the 43-year-old woman with what were believed to be serious injuries. She was transported to the hospital by paramedics for further medical treatment.

Police are continuing to investigate and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 306-975-8300 or submit and anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Traffic Restrictions - 500 block of Manek Rd

The Saskatoon Police are currently on scene of a collision between a vehicle and a 12-year-old cyclist that occurred in the 500 block of Manek Rd at 5:15pm on June 20th, 2026.

The 12-year-old has been taken to hospital with serious injuries and the Collision Analyst Unit is investigating further.

Motorists are asked to find an alternative route and respect officer's investigating in the area.

Ongoing Investigation - South Saskatchewan River

At approximately 4:45pm on June 20, 2026, the Saskatoon Police Service and Saskatoon Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a jet-ski operator going over the weir and under the water on the South Saskatchewan river.

The investigation is ongoing and several emergency response workers are in the area at this time. There are no roadway restrictions, but the pedestrian walkways in the area are closed to foot traffic.

The public is asked to please avoid the area and call police with any information that they may have regarding this incident.

Charges Laid - Shooting - 3800 Block of Fairlight Drive

Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Patrol and Guns & Gangs Unit have charged a youth male with numerous firearms related offences following an investigation into a shooting that occurred last Friday.

On June 12, 2026 at approximately 7:50 a.m., police responded to a weapons complaint in the 3800 block of Fairlight Drive. Upon arrival, officers learned an unknown male had attended the residence and presented a firearm. It was also learned that bear spray had been discharged.

Through continued investigation, officers learned the male encountered another male at the entrance of the residence before a brief physical altercation occurred. During the altercation, the male that attended pulled out a firearm. At that point the male from the residence discharged bear spray at the other. The other male then fired a shot which struck the residence.

Both males then fled the scene prior to police arrival. There are not believed to have been any injuries as a result of this incident. Responding officers also located evidence that a firearm had been discharged.

Through further investigation, a warrant to arrest was issued for the male who discharged the firearm. As a result, a 17-year-old male was apprehended in Regina by Regina Police Service on his outstanding warrant.

The 17-year-old male has been charged with multiple Criminal Code firearms offences.
