A 28 year old male is being treated in hospital for a non life-threatening injury following an incident that occurred in the area of 23 St and Av I at approximately 11:24 p.m. yesterday.

The man reported walking in the area when he was approached by another man. He reported a verbal exchange occurred before the male suspect, who was armed with a firearm shot the male.
