A 26 year old male is recovering from his injury following a report of an injured person in the 1000 block of Boychuk Drive.

At approximately 10:00 p.m., Police received a call from the man who reported having been shot. Upon arrival Police located the man behind a strip mall. He was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services where it was found that he was suffering from a serious but non-life threatening gunshot wound. It is not known where the incident took place or what type of firearm or pellet gun was used.
