Two people are in custody after a robbery, in which a vehicle was stolen, led to suspects attempting to evade police.

On November 8th, 2021, two women threatened a female, with a weapon, in the 800 block of 3rd Avenue North. The female suspects then stole her vehicle.

On November 12th at around 4 a.m., Police spotted the vehicle and attempted to pull it over near the intersection of Jamieson Street and Avenue C North. Officers report the vehicle took off, at a high rate of speed, and failed to stop. The vehicle was found abandoned in the 200 block of McMillan Avenue, where a 31-year-old woman and a 26-year-old woman were arrested.

The 26 year-old-woman faces charges of Robbery, Evading Police and Breach of a Court Order

The 31-year-old woman faces charges of Robbery, Evading Police, Operating a Vehicle While Prohibited, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
