Traffic Restrictions at Ruth Street and Lorne Avenue have now been lifted. The SPS would like to thank the public for avoiding the area.

Police are advising of traffic restrictions in the area of Lorne Avenue and Ruth Street East following a collision between a semi-trailer and an overpass at this location; both north and southbound lanes of travel on Lorne Avenue have been fully restricted. It is unknown how long these restrictions will remain in place and members of the motoring public are advised to find an alternate route around the area.
There have been no injuries reported as a result of the collision. An update will be provided upon the removal of restrictions.
