The annual Rock 102 - Show and Shine event is taking place August 19 – 21, 2022. In past years, vehicular and pedestrian traffic volumes increase in the area of 8th Street as a result of what has become known as “Cruise Weekend”.

The Saskatoon Police Service Traffic Unit reminds members of the motoring public that activities along 8th Street are not part of any sanctioned event and that all traffic laws and regulations will continue to be enforced by a high profile police presence in and around the area. To facilitate traffic flow and ensure public safety, traffic restrictions may be put in effect.

The show and shine component of the event will take place on Sunday, August 21, 2022; traffic restrictions will be in effect in the downtown core for most of the day as a result.
