Arrest - Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit with the assistance of the Regina Police Service VICE Unit and the Regina Children’s Justice Center has charged a Regina man with multiple child pornography and sexual assault offences. On August 24, 2022, investigators with the ICE unit executed a search warrant at the residence which had been identified as where the offences were occurring. Several electronic devices were seized and investigation continues. Chance Longman, 21 years old, of Regina has been charged with the following:

1 count of Making Child Pornography.

1 count of Making Available Child Pornography.

1 count of Distribution of Child Pornography.

1 count of Possession of Child Pornography.

1 count of Sexual Interference.

1 count of Sexual Assault.

He will appear this morning in Regina Provincial Court on these charges.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the Internet.
