The Saskatoon Police Service has arrested a 20-year-old man in connection to a firearms investigation.
On March 13, 2023, the SPS Guns and Gangs Unit investigated after receiving information that a male, near the 1500 block of 19th Street West, was in possession of a prohibited firearm. At approximately 2:00 p.m., officers located a 20-year-old man, in the 1300 block of 20th Street West, and arrested him without further incident. He was carrying a bag that contained a prohibited firearm inside of it.
The 20-year-old man faces several firearms related charges including; Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
