Heavy Police Presence - 200 Block Sutter Place

The Saskatoon Police Service safely concluded an incident involving multiple firearms, yesterday.

On May 1, 2023, at around 7:30 p.m., police were called to the 200 block of Sutter Place for a report that a 21-year-old man was threatening self-harm. Upon arrival, officers learned there were multiple firearms inside. Shortly after, a 21-year-old man exited the residence, unarmed. Multiple firearms were located and seized inside.

The 21-year-old man was assessed by the SPS Police and Crisis Team (PACT), and transported to hospital for further assessment.

Traffic restrictions on the 200 block Sutter Place been lifted.

Saskatoon Police Service is advising members of the public of heavy police presence in the area of the 200 block Sutter Place with regards to a police investigation being conducted in the area.

Saskatoon Police Service is requesting for members of the public to avoid the area until further notice.
