One man was arrested following a disturbance yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 4:30 p.m., January 26, 2023, Patrol members attended to an address in the 300 block of 23rd Street East for a report of an individual causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers located a man in front of the address carrying drug paraphernalia. He appeared to be agitated and under the influence of an intoxicant. With the assistance of a security guard, Police arrested the man for public intoxication. He became combative, kicking and biting officers prior to being placed in the Patrol car and transported to Detention.

A 28-year-old man is charged with Causing a Disturbance, Resisting Arrest, Uttering Death Threats and Assaulting a Police Officer (x2).
