Two men have been arrested after evading police early this morning.

At approximately 3:30 a.m. on September 21, 2023, officers observed a suspicious vehicle with two occupants driving erratically in the area of 21st Street West and Avenue Y South. The passenger remained with the vehicle and was arrested without further incident. Both were believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant at the time of their arrests and were transported to hospital for further evaluation.

As a result, the 32-year-old male driver has been charged with evading police and dangerous driving. The 31-year-old male passenger has been charged with breaching court-imposed conditions. Further charges may be laid as the investigation continues.
