Members of the Major Crime Section are continuing to investigate a homicide that occurred on October 7, 2023 in the 100 block of Mackie Crescent. The victim, a 38-year-old man, has been identified as Ryan Taysup of Saskatoon.
Investigators are again asking anyone with information or video evidence believed to be relevant to the investigation to contact police directly at 306-975-8300 or submit a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Saskatoon Police are investigating a homicide that occurred this morning.
At approximately 5:50 a.m., October 7, 2023, patrol officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of Mackie Crescent after it was reported a man was injured in the backyard. Upon arrival, Police located a 38-year old male. He was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
Detectives from the Major Crime and Forensic Identification Sections are investigating.

This is Saskatoon's ninth homicide of 2023.
