Missing Persons - Request For Public Assistance

The two subjects of a missing persons investigation, Cynthia Okemow, age 45, and daughter Chantelle Okemow, age 8, were located and found to be safe.

Police wish to thank members of the public and media for their attention to the matter.

The Saskatoon Police Service is requesting public assistance in locating a missing mother and daughter.

Cynthia Okemow, age 45, and Chantelle Okemow, age 8, were last seen leaving a residence in the 300 block of Avenue N South on October 10, 2023. Cynthia is believed to be in a vulnerable state; police are concerned for the safety of both Cynthia and Chantelle.

Cynthia is described as being approximately 5’4” and 130lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. Chantelle is described as having a partial amputation to one of her arms. A clothing description is not available for either mother or daughter.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Cynthia and/or Chantelle Okemow is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or, in an emergency, 9-1-1. Anonymous information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. A photo is attached for distribution.
