Investigators with the Major Crime Section have arrested and charged a 20-year-old Saskatoon woman with second degree murder in relation to the December 26, 2023 discovery of a 20-year-old deceased Saskatoon woman. Investigators believe the homicide occurred on December 25, 2023.The two women were known to each other.
She is expected to appear in Provincial Court tomorrow morning.

Earlier this morning, Saskatoon Police responded to a report of death.
At approximately 10:46 a.m., December 26, 2023, patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased person near Jonathon Avenue and Malouf Road. They located a deceased female upon their arrival. At this time, the death is considered suspicious.
Investigators with the Major Crime and Forensic Identification Sections are currently investigating. No further information is available at this time.
