Aggravated Assault – Request For Public Assistance

The Saskatoon Police Service is requesting public assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest in an assault investigation.

On February 9, 2024, police were called to a hospital in the 700 block of Queen Street for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers located the 35-year-old female victim suffering from a knife wound to her face. Continued investigation found that the assault occurred in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue South at around 1:30 p.m. following an altercation with a man unknown to the victim.

Investigators with the Serious Assault Unit have identified an adult male as a person of interest; he was seen at the time wearing a black hat, dark coloured flannel jacket, and jeans. A photo is attached for distribution.
