Arrest - Internet Child Exploitation Unit

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Saskatoon man with child exploitation offences. Members of the ICE Unit began an online investigation into child exploitation in January 2024, and subsequently executed a search warrant at a home in Saskatoon on March 7th, 2024.

As a result of the police investigation, 33 -year-old Cameron Highway, was charged on March 7th, 2024.

He has been charged with:

Distributing Child Pornography, section 163.1 (3) of the Criminal Code.

Possession of child pornography, section 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code.

Highway appeared in court and was released on numerous conditions. His next court appearance is March 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM in Saskatoon.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the Internet.
