The Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred over the weekend.

Shortly before 4:00 a.m., May 4, 2025, police responded to an injured person in a parking lot in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue North. Upon arrival, they located a 24-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds. A short distance away, a canine unit was patrolling and observed two men, ages 18 and 20, with knife-related injuries and suffering from the effects of bear spray; they were both transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The 24-year-old victim was transported to hospital with what are believed to be serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The SPS Serious Assault Unit is continuing to investigate.
