A man is facing charges after police responded to a weapons complaint on a city bus.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., December 3, 2025, police responded to Preston Avenue South and Wilson Crescent for a report of a male on a city bus that was in possession of a knife. The suspect was located by police on the bus and upon being taken into custody, was found to be concealing a knife in his pants.

The 38-year-old man is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of Weapon, and breach of court-imposed conditions.
