A lengthy and complex fraud investigation by the SPS Economic Crime Section has resulted in charges being laid against a 53 year old Cudworth, Saskatchewan woman.
On June 19, 2025, Saskatoon Police received a report of fraud at a Saskatoon business. The owners believed they had been defrauded of large sums of money by an employee providing bookkeeping services. Further investigation found that approximately $340,000 had been misappropriated from business accounts for the accused's personal expenses and significant purchases, including a Ford F-150.
The 53 year old Cudworth woman is now facing charges of Fraud Over $5000 and Trafficking in Proceeds of Crime Over $5000.
She was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on January 28, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
