A 34 year old Saskatoon man is facing charges following an incident in which a vehicle was reported to be driving into oncoming traffic.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., March 3, 2026, Police began receiving reports that a red Ford F150 was driving dangerously in the area of Millar Avenue and 64th Street. Upon arrival, officers located a man standing in the middle of the street, next to a vehicle matching the description. He then got back into the vehicle and refused to comply as Police attempted a traffic stop. The male continued to evade officers in the area of Wanuskewin Road and Highway 11 even though a tire deflation device was successful and he was proceeding on rims. The driver turned off the highway and onto Range Road 3052 where he proceeded at slow speeds. An SPS patrol unit with a safety bar was then used to make contact with the truck, bringing it to a stop.
The 34 year old man is now facing charges of Dangerous Driving, Evade Police, Impaired Driving and Failure to Provide a Breath Sample.
