Traffic restrictions have been lifted following a collision earlier this evening at Idylwyld Drive, near the 8th Street East overpass.
Shortly after 7:00pm, the Saskatoon Police Service was dispatched to a head-on collision that occurred after a southbound vehicle was travelling in the northbound lanes. A 29 year-old woman and a 27 year-old man were taken to hospital with injuries.
The Saskatoon Police Service Collision Analyst Unit continues to investigate.

The Saskatoon Police Service is currently on the scene of a serious collision that occurred on Idylwyld Dr, south of the Sid Buckwold Bridge near 8th St.
Heavy traffic restrictions are in place for the foreseeable future, and motorists are asked to avoid the area until further updates are available.
