One man was arrested following a report of an assault.
Shortly before 3:00 a.m. on March 8, 2026, members of Patrol were called to a residence in the 1200 block of Avenue H North for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers entered the residence and located the suspect of the assault attempting to destroy illicit drugs and ammunition. He was taken into custody and members of the Guns and Gangs Unit were notified to assist with the investigation. Following the execution of a search warrant, the following evidentiary seizures were made;
- KAHR CW9 9mm handgun
- Prohibited magazine
- Ammunition
- Concealable holster
As a result, the 35-year-old man is facing six firearms-related charges in addition to assault causing bodily harm.
