A man and woman are facing charges following a report of someone causing damage with a fire extinguisher inside a residence.
At approximately 12:15 p.m., March 15, 2026, Police received a report about an unknown problem from a multi-unit residence in the 1200 block of Temperance Street. Upon arrival officers located a 23 year old male who reported that another, unknown male had been knocking on the doors of suites, causing damage and then discharged the fire extinguisher before fleeing. He was located nearby and was taken into custody along with two women. He was found to be in possession of an expandable baton. One of the women was found to be in possession of a knife and fentanyl.
The 33 year old male is now facing charges of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Assault and Mischief Over $5000.
The 38 year old woman is facing charges of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace, Possession of Fentanyl and Breach of Undertaking.
The second woman was not criminally charged. The victim suffered minor injuries.
