The victim in this homicide was a 49 year old Saskatoon man.
A 17 year old Saskatoon male has been arrested and charged in a homicide which occurred on March 14, 2026.
The male accused is facing charges including; 2nd Degree Murder, Use of a Firearm While Committing and Indictable Offence and Possession of a Firearm While Prohibited.

Saskatoon Police Investigating Homicide – 900 Block of 22nd Street West
At approximately 12:30 a.m. on March 14, 2026, Saskatoon Police responded to a shooting in the 900 block of 22nd Street West.
Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was transported to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section is investigating.
