A man has been charged after he was found to be in possession of multiple weapons last night.

Shortly before 11:00 p.m., March 17, 2026, patrol officers responded to a report that a man was armed with bear spray and a machete in the 2400 block of 22nd Street West. Police located a male matching the suspect description in the 100 block fo Witney Avenue South. Upon taking him into custody, police found him in possession of bear spray, a baseball bat, a sharp-edged weapon, two pry bars, a hammer, and multiple identity documents.

The 39-year-old male is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x3), Carrying a Concealed Weapon (x3), Possession of Break and Enter Tools, and Possession of Identity Documents. He was also found to be breaching court-imposed conditions and had two warrants for his arrest. (Court Info # 991333174)
