Police are investigating following a robbery yesterday evening.

At around 7:30 p.m. on January 15, 2026, police were called to a mall in the 200 block of 1st Avenue South for a report of a robbery that just occurred. Upon arrival, officers learned that two suspects armed with a knife and bear spray had robbed the male victim of his property in a stairwell within the mall. The suspects then fled the area. It is unknown if the suspects and victim were known to one another.

Police are continuing to investigate.
