A 41 year old Saskatoon man is facing a number of charges following a report of an assault overnight.

At approximately 11:15 p.m., January 26, 2026, Police were called to the 2200 block of Easthill. A taxi driver reported arriving at the address when two people exited the house and pushed him. One was armed with a machete. Officers located several people inside the home including the 41 year old man. He was found to be in possession of two knives, a collapsible baton, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The male is now facing charges including Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace (x3) and Breach of Probation. He will be appearing in Provincial Court at a later date.

The victim was not injured.
