A 28 year old Saskatoon man is in hospital following a shooting early this morning.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., January 27, 2026, Police were called to St. Paul's Hospital where the man had arrived seeking assistance. He reported that just after 2:00 a.m., he was approached by an unknown man in an alley way behind the 2200 block of 22nd Street West. The male demanded cash, stole the victim's wallet and shot the victim before fleeing. The victim received a non life-threatening injury.
The suspect is described as a male in his 30's, 6'2" in height, approximately 230 lbs, wearing jeans, a ball cap and a blue hoodie.
