Saskatoon Police are investigating in relation to a bear spray incident that occurred yesterday.

On June 9, 2026 at approximately 5:40 p.m., police were called to the 1400 block of 20th Street West for a report of an injured person. It was reported to police that someone had discharged bear spray.

Officers arrived on scene and located multiple people suffering from the effects of bear spray. The suspect had fled the scene prior to police arrival. It is believed that the suspect and victims are known to each other.
