A 34 year old woman and a 26 year old man are facing charges following a robbery and assault on the weekend.

At approximately 8:00 a.m., June 19, 2026 two males and two females were travelling in a Chevrolet Cruze when the driver was told to pull over by the backseat occupants. The 34 year old woman then reportedly struck the male in the front passenger seat with a hammer. Items, including the vehicle were then stolen from the 43 year old female and 36 year old male victims. The vehicle was located a short time later in the 2400 block of MacPherson Avenue. The 34 year old woman was arrested at the scene along with the 26 year old man. They are facing charges including; Robbery, Possession of Stolen Property and Breach of Probation.
