Arrests - Assist Outside Agencies - Canada-Wide Warrants

Two men were arrested following notification from the Vancouver Police Department of the presence of a wanted person in Saskatoon. The 27-year-old man was known to have 16 warrants from three agencies within two jurisdictions; the Vancouver Police Department in British Columbia and the Calgary Police Service and Cochrane RCMP in Alberta.

At around 5:30 p.m. on June 23, 2026, the 27-year-old man, along with an 18-year-old man, were arrested by members of the Tactical Support Unit at an address in the 200 block of Barrett Street. A Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant was then executed at the same address by members of the Crime Reduction Team resulting in the following evidentiary seizures;

  • $12,145 CAD
  • 57 grams of powdered cocaine
  • 58 grams of crack cocaine
  • Shotgun shells (x2)
  • Knife
  • Assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking

In addition to the execution of outstanding warrants, both men are facing 10 new charges relating to drugs, proceeds of crime, weapons, and breaching court-imposed conditions.
