Saskatoon Police are investigating a robbery and assault which occurred early this morning.
At approximately 2:40 a.m., February 2, 2026, Police were called to a convenience store in the 2400 block of Preston Ave. South. A 65 year old man told officers that he had been in the parking lot in his 2003 Dodge Caravan when he was approached by an unknown woman who pulled him from the vehicle and assaulted him. She and a second suspect fled in the vehicle. It was later located after colliding with a light standard at Spadina Crescent and Queen Street. A canine track of the area was not successful.
The woman is described as being heavy-set, with long dark hair and wearing a red coat. No description is available for the second suspect.
