The Saskatoon Police Service is reminding residents that we are hosting our SPS community BBQ tomorrow.

The BBQ will take place on July 7, 2026 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Ontario Avenue beside the police station. It will include various public safety displays, live entertainment, and even a dunk tank where those in attendance can look to make a splash by dunking a police officer in support of the Special Olympics.

Tours of the SPS Headquarters building will also be offered, at three different times. There are limited spots available; those interested can sign up in-person, starting at 11:00 a.m., at the corner of 25th Street and Ontario Avenue.

Country Style BBQ will be serving burgers, hot dogs and smokies and the Mean Green Ice Cream Machine will have snacks available for purchase and attendees are encouraged to bring cash as payment.

Members of the public will still be able to attend the SPS HQ Service Centre to file a police report for obtain a criminal record check during the BBQ hours.
