One woman was arrested following a stabbing Monday evening.

On July 6, 2026 at around 8:45 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of an injured person in the 300 block of Avenue M South.

Upon police arrival, officers located a 16-year-old female with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries consistent with a stabbing. Just under an hour later, officers located a female matching the suspect description in the 300 block of Avenue C South where she was arrested without further incident.

As a result, the 28-year-old woman has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Breaching Court-Imposed Conditions.
