Three male youth have been arrested and face charges relating to a robbery involving weapons late Friday afternoon.

At approximately 5:15 p.m. on July 10, 2026, police were called to a business in the 2400 block of 22nd Street West for a report of a robbery involving a firearm, knife and bear spray.

Officers arrived on scene and were able to view video surveillance and learned multiple youths entered the store and grabbed multiple bottles of alcohol off the shelf before attempting to leave without paying. A woman confronted the group and one of the males brandished what appeared to be a firearm, while another pulled out a machete. There are not believed to be any physical injuries as a result of this incident.

Three males matching suspect descriptions were located and arrested a short distance away. Through further investigation, the gun was believed to be an imitation firearm.

Two male youths aged 15 and one aged 13 have been charged with Robbery. One of the 15-year-olds has also been charged with:

• Use Imitation Firearm while Committing Robbery;
• Carry Concealed Weapon;
• Possession of a Weapon for the Purpose of Committing an Offence;
• Assault with a Weapon;
• Point Firearm; and
• Disguise with Intent.

All three males were scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on July 13, 2026.
