One woman is facing a number of charges relating to a weapons offence on Sunday night.
On July 12, 2026 at approximately 9:08 p.m., police received a call for service reporting that a woman was threatening people with a knife in the 100 block of Avenue T South.
Arriving officers located a woman matching the suspect description a short distance away where she was arrested without further incident. A search of her person resulted in officers located two knives and a pool ball that was hooked to a chain. Officers also learned the woman had outstanding warrants for her arrest.
There are not believed to have been any physical injuries as a result of this incident.
As a result, the 36-year-old woman has been charged with:
- Assault with a Weapon (x3);
- Uttering Threats (x3);
- Possession of a Weapon (x3);
- Carrying Concealed Weapon (x3); and
- Breach of Court-Imposed Conditions.
The woman was scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on July 13, 2026.
